Basement moisture can show up as damp walls, staining or water after rainfall. Golden Master reviews the visible problem and the conditions around your foundation to help plan an appropriate waterproofing repair. The recommendation depends on the location of water entry, access and the condition of the affected area.

A practical approach to basement moisture

01

Leak & crack assessment

Review visible cracks, staining and water-entry areas, along with the timing of the problem and nearby drainage conditions.

02

Foundation waterproofing

Where suitable, discuss exterior access, surface preparation, crack repair, sealing and membrane work around the affected foundation area.

03

Drainage & restoration

Review how nearby gutters, downspouts and surfaces direct water. Include agreed backfill, paver reinstatement or surface finishing in the repair plan.

Planning your project

Tell us when the moisture appears, which walls or corners are affected and whether nearby outdoor surfaces collect water. Photos of both the inside and outside help. We will review access and identify whether the project requires exterior excavation, coatings, crack repair or further assessment before agreeing the work.

Common questions

Will waterproofing paint alone fix a basement leak?

A coating may be part of a suitable scope, but it does not replace finding the source of water entry. We review the conditions before recommending a repair.

Does every basement waterproofing job require digging?

No. The scope depends on the source of the problem and access to the affected area. Exterior excavation is discussed only where it is appropriate for the proposed repair.

Can you remove and reinstall pavers beside the foundation?

Yes. When the agreed waterproofing scope requires access below a paved area, removal and reinstatement can be planned together. The estimate should specify the affected area and finishing work.

Tell us where the water is appearing.

Share your town, photos and when you notice the moisture. We’ll help you plan the next step.
